De koers van EEGC (OTCBB) is ondertussen verdubbeld en...er is heel wat gebeurd...

Beste, Ik vond dat het tijd werd om eens dieper in te gaan op het door mij zo gepromote aandeel EEGC (Empire Energy, OTCBB). Lang geleden, toen ik voor het eerst over dit aandeel schreef, gericht aan u in H.I., stond de koers op 0,09 USD. Ik beloofde u zwart op wit een verdubbeling. Die is er ook gekomen en zelfs nogal snel, tot 0,18. Toen schreef ik : wie wil kan verkopen, we hebben onze belofte gehouden, maar ik zei er ook bij dat het nu eigenlijk nog moest beginnen. Zelf ben ik er ook met een paar honderduizend aandelen ingestapt, aan 0,09 - 0,12 - 0,15. I put my money where my mouth is ! Ik vermoed dat de meesten onder u wel meegegaan zijn in het verhaal EEGC, en ik vermoed ook dat u uw aandelen toen heeft bijgehouden. Wat is er ondertussen allemaal gebeurd. De stichter en CEO Malcolm Bendall zegt over een kredietlijn van 50 miljoen dollar te beschikken waarmee hij alle niet-verkochte rechten aan 0,07 zal opkopen. Ik bedoel het recht dat iedere aandeelhouder binnenkort zal ontvangen om per aandeel gekocht voor december 2008, er twee bijkomend te mogen kopen aan 0,07. U vraagt zich nu direct af en terecht : waarom zou ik bijkomende aandelen verwerven aan 0,07 wanneer de koers vandaag 0,029 bedraagt ? Inderdaad : geen mens ! De hoop van Bendall was duidelijk dat zijn aankondiging de koers fel zou opstuwen. Wat niet gebeurd is. Het ongeloof bij de aandeelhouders is dus nog groot, getuige de koers. Ondertussen is de boortoren weggevoerd door Hunt Energy, de boorcompany, totdat zij volledig betaald zijn. Wel hebben ze reeds 20 miljoen aandelen ontvangen die nu vrij verhandelbaar zijn, sinds een week. Ook getuige de koers is het duidelijk dat zij nu nog verkiezen die niét op de markt te gooien. Er is dus toch geloof bij Hunt dat ze vroeg of laat vergoed zullen worden. Sinds 1 oktober jl. is de licentie van Empire vervallen. Je zou zeggen : het bedrijf en het aandeel is vandaag een lege doos. Je zou verwachten : die koers gaat naar nul. Dat is dus niét gebeurd, de koers is integendeel verdubbeld tot 0,029 USD. En is er een nieuwe pr gekomen, die volgt hier : LEAWOOD, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Empire Energy Corporation International (Empire)(OTCBB:EEGC.OB - News) announced that on September 30, 2009 its wholly owned subsidiary, Great South Land Minerals, Ltd. lodged an license application with Mineral Resources Tasmania as permitted under Tasmanian Legislation and provided additional information regarding financial capacity requested by MRT in support of an existing application. The new application is to establish an Exploration License (EL) over the significant discoveries contained within the key seismically defined structures originally covered by Special Exploration License 13/98 that was set to expire. The new application area is reduced approximately 50% but includes all the RPS identified P3 prospective resources which were identified as a result of our over $50 million expenditure, meeting license conditions over the past ten years. The existing application is a Special Exploration License (SEL) for approximately 11,000 sq km including eastern Tasmania and shallow offshore areas. Included with the applications was information that Empire exceeds the $50 million asset test and in addition has, or is likely to have, sufficient financial resources to carry out the proposed work programs, including the announced rights offering. Empire believes its past performance of meeting or exceeding the work requirements of SEL 13/98 should automatically qualify it to be granted the new licenses.

As prerequisite part of preparation of the applications, GSLM obtained a valuation of the resource identified by the exploration and evaluation work performed over the past ten years. RPS Energy Ltd, one of the world’s leading Independent Expert suppliers of oil and gas evaluations, prepared a Competent Persons Report indicating that the mean P3 oil and gas prospective resource contained within the structures identified by our geophysical and seismic work was 668 million barrels. WHK, one of the top accounting firms in Australia calculated the P3 prospective resource value of $3.3 Billion US at a current market valuation price of $5 per barrel. The Tasmanian properties have equivalent counterparts in mainland Australia that have established this value on recent P3 sales. The indicated valuation is the product of the discounted price used to calculate P3 prospective resource values in the current market. The RPS Energy Ltd indicated P3 mean prospective resource of 668 million barrels, calculated by using “probabilistic” methods, which if verified and produced at today’s price of $68 per barrel, could represent potential revenue of $45 billion contained in structures discovered by our 1,400 km of seismic work. Empire CEO Malcolm Bendall commented, “The P3 evaluation of RPS Energy Ltd., contained within their competent persons report was used by WHK, one of the leading accountancy firms in Australia. The resultant valuation of $3.3 billion confirms our findings and belief developed over these past ten years through our diligent work and significant $50 million investment meeting the license condition. The value of the P3 resource included in these structures is outstanding. The indicated asset value of the resource alone exceeds $10 for every share of our common stock currently outstanding. Completion of our Rights Offering should allow all rights holders to participate further as we work to increase this value through drilling to take our P3 resource to P1, P2 and P3 resources and reserves. I am excited by the prospect of mobilizing the Hunt Energy drilling rig, currently stored in Tasmania, to resume drilling on the Bellevue site. Hunt Energy currently holds 20 million shares of Empire common stock that was included in the recent registration statement.” Samengevat en vertaald : een nieuwe licentie werd aangevraagd en men lijkt er nogal zeker van te zijn die te verkrijgen. Onafhankelijk onderzoek heeft aangetoond dat er aan 5 dollar per barrel olie 3,3 miljard dollar waarde in de grond zit. Dit vind ik nogal nutteloos want olie staat vandaag tegen de 70 dollar. Maar verder wordt er wel gezegd dat aan de huidige marktprijs van 68 dollar, de waarde 45 miljard dollar is. En dat één aandeel potentieel minstens 10 dollar waard is. Alles zal nu afhangen van of Empire die nieuwe licentie verkijgt. Aandeelhouders en andere potentiële beleggers wachten nu dus duidelijk af. Ze (we) hebben nog geduld, wat sommigen al jaren hebben met dit aandeel. Eén ding staat vast voor mij, na alle feiten en gebeurtenissen nog eens beschouwd te hebben : EEGC wordt de jackpot...of het aandeel gaat naar nul, zero, misschien 0,0001 of zo.
